Albert P. Dufrene Sr., 91, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.

He is survived by his sons, Albert Jr. and Glenn Dufrene; daughters, Carolyn Sevier and Cindy Folse; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elta Dufrene; parents, Davis and Victoria Dufrene; brothers, Elvan, Hubert, Clifton, Irvin and Tony Dufrene; and sisters, Nazy LeBoeuf and Ethel Dufrene.


Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La. (Falgout)
