Alfred “Pappy” Brunet, 51, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, July 28.
He is survived by his mother, Velma Noel; stepfather, Gerald Noel; wife, Barbara Lovette Brunet; two daughters, Julia St. Denis and Genia Brunet; two sisters, Connie Lee and Pamela Rousse; two brothers, Joey and Mark Brunet; three grandchildren, Logan St. Denis, Dakota St. Denis and Sophie Mayet; and two sons-in-law, J.P. St. Denis and Jason Mayet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Brunet Sr.; one brother, Herman Brunet Jr.; one sister, Wanda Harden; and one niece, Jodie Brunet.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 30, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Larose. Mass will be at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Rosary Church in Larose with burial at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
