Alice Alaine Chaisson Marks, 101, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010.
Ms. Marks was a seamstress. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her son, Warren (Margaret Ann) Marks Sr.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Charles Marks; parents, Arthur and Heneritta Andras Chaisson; brothers, Henry, Arthur, Camille, Noah, Raoul and Paul Chaisson; sisters, Heneritta Mahler, Estelle Louviere Marcel, Amy Legendre and Aline Richard.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
