Area environment prompts holiday alternatives
December 5, 2011Alice Marlene Aldridge Sandlin, 88, a native of West Virginia and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:02 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Marsha) and David (Carol) Sandlin; daughter, Sandra Sandlin; sister, Margaret (Clifford) Thornton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Sandlin; and sisters, Edna Roberts and Gail Spaide. (Samart)
