Alidy “Al” Lawrence Fontenot, Jr., 57, a native of Eunice, La. and resident of Houma, La. died Monday, December 3, 2007, at 12:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Fredia Marie Colvin Fontenot; one son, Thomas Brazor and his wife Ruby; four daughters, Alaina Thomassie and her husband Bobby, Brooks Sluearengin and her husband Issac, Emma Richard, and Tiffany Watkins; two sisters, Mary Duhan and Jenny Richard; and three grandchildren, Rhett Lambas, Eleana Bazor, and Sierra Bazor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alidy and Nada Bordelan Fontenot, Sr.; and two sisters, Elizabeth Fontenot and Juanita Bazarre.
Alidy was a devout Baptist and a member of First Baptist Church of Houma.
Visitation is Friday, December 7, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at New Hope Christian Church in Houma. He will be buried in Grace Christian Memorial Park.
