Allen Joseph “Nyen” Benoit, 77, a native of Chauvin and resident of Montegut, was born on November 06, 1940 and passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 14, 2018 at 06: 41 pm.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalita Marie Benoit; son, Jackie Paul Benoit (Kelly); daughter, Toby Marie Crochet (Kerry); grandchildren, Brandi Lyn Naquin, Kristal Crochet Neal (Jordan), Brandon “Digga” Crochet, Kaycee Elizabeth Crochet, Rusti Renee` Benoit, and Logan Marie Benoit; great-grandchilden, Kamryn Neal,Jaystin Neal, Jake Naquin, and Kaydon Leboeuf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willy Joseph Benoit and Cecile Marie Bergeron; stepfather, Eustache Martin; son, Matthew Joseph Benoit; numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters; and grandchild, Tate Matthew Sherwood.
