Allen Peter Martin, 82, a native of New Iberia and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 2am.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Bergeron Martin; two sons, Mark Martin and his wife Margo and Gregory Martin and his wife Michele; one daughter, Joni M. Biondini and her husband Roberto; one brother, Klebert D. Martin; one sister, Olga LeBoeuf; one half-sister, Bertha Squires; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Klebert and Theresa Singer Martin; one brother, Samuel Martin; four half-brothers, Glaise, Hilias, Julius, and Houston Martin; and one half-sister, Yvonne Martin.
Allen was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a retired compressor mechanic with Chevron Oil Co. and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He is buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
