Allen Tyron Brown, 93, a native of Birch Tree, Mo., and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
Mr. Brown was a member of Bayou Blue Methodist Church. He retired from South Central Bell and was an avid camper who loved to travel.
He is survived by his sons, Douglas (Barbara) and William (Earlene) Brown; daughters, Sandra Pitre, Susan Fox, Carolyn Bolan and Deborah (Butch) Buchenau; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Brown; parents, David and Ella Brown; brothers, Guy, Richard, Donald, Delmar and William Brown; and sister, Lenora Reed.
Burial was at Matherne Cemetery. (Chauvin)
