November 7, 2011Alma Gautreaux Bolden, 84, a native of Houma, La., and resident of New Orleans, La., died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Mrs. Bolden was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and a retired Orleans Parish school teacher.
She is survived by her sons, Carl and Christopher Bolden; daughter, Gwendolyn Ganey; brothers, Rodney, Gino and Johnny Gautreaux; and sisters, Zenobia Brown, Viola Joseph and Barbara Journee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Bolden.
Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Orleans. (Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne)
