Alma Dufrene Sevin, 87, a native and resident of Des Allemands, La. died Friday, June 15, 2007.

She is survived by her two sons, Earl Sevin, Sr. and Willis Dufrene; two daughter, Angie Fruge and Yvonne Petit; three brothers, Raymond, Wilmer, and Lloyd Dufrene; one sister, Loretta D. Landry; eighteen grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hayes Savoie; her second husband, Earl Sevin, Sr., her parents Maloney and Clementine Matherne Dufrene; one son, Arnold Sevin, Sr.; two brothers, Murphy and Alvin Dufrene; one sister, Leta Dufrene; one great grandchild.

Alma was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands.

She is buried at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
