Alvin Jerome Holly Jr., 63, a native of Napoleonville, La., and former resident of San Diego, Calif., and New Orleans, La., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.
Mr. Holly was an employee with Avondale Shipyard, a 1964 graduate of Reed High School and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Octavia and Samuel Southall; brothers, Earl (Dorothy) Holly, and Kerry and Tommy (Stacy) Southall; adopted sister, Stephany (David) Robertson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Holly Sr.; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is interred at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. (Williams and Southall)
