Tourney gives teams early look at competition
December 29, 2009Alvin T. Naquin Sr., 74, a native and resident of Isle De Jean Charles, La., died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Odelia Dardar; sons, Alvin Jr., Calvin (Amy), Russell, Dicky and Douglas Naquin; daughters, Vanessa (Perry) LeBouef, Gloria Naquin, Doris Carbs, Nezia Naquin, Maryann (Gene) Billiot and Nancy Naquin; brothers, Eddie, Whitney, Antoine and Tillman Naquin; sister, Elizabeth Dardar; 30 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elphage and Lezie Dardar Naquin; brothers, Dale, Luke, Delvis and Ernest Naquin; and sisters, Edna Foret and Delma Billiot.
He is buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
