Amelia “Mia” Plaisance Cheramie, 94, of Houma, La., died on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Mrs. Cheramie loved to travel with family and enjoyed having a full house and cooking large meals. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary unit 31 and a past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary, Knights of Columbus Auxillary, Krewe of Flames Carnival Club, and United Veterans League.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene (Clinton) DeHart; son, Wilson (Sharon) Cheramie; and one grandchild.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
