October 6, 2011Anaise Cecile LeBoeuf Fanguy, 89, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.
Mrs. Fanguy was a homemaker, and parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #380 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary #9608.
She is survived by her son, Herbert (Jennie) Fanguy; brother, Lester LeBoeuf; sister, Dulcia Voisin; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Fanguy; parents, Augustin and Emily LeBoeuf; son, Floyd Fanguy Sr.; brothers, Herbert, Howard and Clifton LeBoeuf; sisters, Nolia LeBouef, Jeanne Brunet, Alice Blanchard and Hilda Fanguy; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial was at St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin. (Samart)
