Anatole “Scat” Pitre, 78, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010.
Mr. Pitre was Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Hebert Pitre; sons, Jerry (Kathy), Michael “Scat” (Pam) and Nat (Dena Felarise) Pitre; daughter, Evelyn (Lincoln Jr.) Martin; brother, Norman Pitre; sister, Rita Pitre Savoie; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nickless and Lydia Pierce Pitre; two grandchildren, Brandin Pitre and Brent Pitre; two brothers, Lawrence Pitre and Linbergh Pitre; and two sisters, Irene Pitre Ledet and Lorraine Pitre Guidry.
He is buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
