Andrew Johnson Jr., 89, a native of Gibson, La. and a former resident of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. funeral time Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. James Baptist Church in Gibson. Burial will be in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery in Metairie, La.
He is survived by his sisters, Hilda J. Washington of Gibson; Eula Mae J. Carter of Houston, Tx. and Essid B. Johnson and husband, Elijah Johnson of North Carolina; his brothers, Augusta Johnson and wife, Alvetta Johnson of New Orleans, La., John Johnson of Newark, New Jersey and Joseph Lee Johnson and wife, Mary Ann Johnson of Gibson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Johnson Sr. and Elizabeth Butler Johnson; his wife, Ivery Lee Dunn Johnson; and his brother, Alexzader Johnson.
He attended Star Beth Church in New Orleans and a member of St. James Baptist Church in Gibson.
