November 28, 2011Andrew Lapeyrouse Sr., 83, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Lapeyrouse; son, Andrew Jr. (Judge) Lapeyrouse; daughter, Peggy Lapeyrouse; grandchildren, Ronnie and Jamie Breaux and Jason and Jana Lapeyrouse; five great-grandchildren; and three godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lapeyrouse; parents, Octave and Emma Lapeyrouse; brothers, Louis, Leo, Camille, Octave and Dewey Lapeyrouse; and sisters, Emma Vosbin and Lillian Lapeyrouse.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Samart Funeral Home and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday the church with burial at the church cemetery. (Samart)
