Andy J. Chiasson Sr., 66, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.
Mr. Chiasson was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. In his youth he was a cattleman and butcher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Hope Chiasson; son, Andy Chiasson Jr.; daughter, Faith (Jim) Michot; brothers, Raynold (Barbara) Jr., Tommy (Kathleen), Keith (Gwen) and Chad (Tina) Chiasson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raynold Sr. and Theresa Chiasson.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
