Ann Naquin Hymel, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010.


She is survived by her sons, James (Connie Richard) and Menard “Brother” (Nora Richard) Hymel Jr.; daughters, Patty (Bobby) Hebert, Julie (Allen) Gros, Penny (Mickey) Utz, Kelli (Mike) Stegall and Holly (Joey) Westerman; 14 grandchildren, Shelly, Clint, Blain, Brenna, Peanut, Cortney, Derek, Corey, Lacey, Shelbi, Kelsi, Clay, Ty and Dex; 11 great-grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Kailee, Kynlee, Austin C., Alexander, Chasity, Alyssa, Alexis, Austin G. and Bella; and sisters, Stella Marie Gros and Lydia “Tete” Duhon.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Menard Hymel Sr.; parents, Sidney and Leoncia Gros Naquin Sr.; two grandchildren, Casie Hebert and Anita Gros; one great-grandchild, Carson Hymel; six brothers, Norman, Lester, Sidney Jr., Eddie, Russel and Raymond Naquin; and two sisters, Effie and Iva Mae Naquin.

She is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery.
