Anna Bonvillain Rhodes, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
Mrs. Rhodes was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, painting, writing poetry and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Dale Rhodes; daughter, Nina (David) Matherne; brothers, Alvin, Clarence, Donald and Charles Bonvillain; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Rhodes; parents, Gilbert and Jeanne Bonvillain; son, Terry Rhodes; and brother, Julius Bonvillain.
Burial was at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
