Annie Callahan Callais, 94, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at 6:56 a.m.

She is survived by her son, Larry Callais and his wife Kathy; her daughter, Susan Terrebonne and her husband Penny; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Hecton Callais; her parents, Constent and Ella Cantrelle Callahan; one son, Steven Callais and his wife Grace; two brothers, Horace Callahan and an infant brother; and three sisters, Nola Callahan, Linda Fischer, and one infant sister.

Annie was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off.

Visitation is Friday, August 24, 2007, from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
