Annie Livas, 95, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday February 11, 2011


She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church on Johnson Ridge. She was also a member of Rebecca Chapter # 23 Order of Eastern Star.


She is survived by her sons, David (Delores) and Sylvester ( Onetter) Livas; daughters, Ruby (Joe) Jackson and Brenda (Charles) Matthews; goddaughters, Betty Keller and Mildred Thomas; sisters, Rebecca Joseph and Novella Redmond; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Livas; parents, Marshall and Bertha Adams; one daughter, Gustavia Sheila Reed; and one brother, Ben Adams.

She is buried at Livas Cemetery. (Kennedy)
