Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads
October 24, 2011Anthony J. Williams, 51, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Williams; son, Quan Williams; stepchildren, Jerry Westley and Stephen and Lynette Falcon; parents, Genevieve and Percy Williams Jr.; sisters, Beverly (Raymond) Williams, Pamela (Royal Jr.) Harvey and Melissa (Todd) Geason; brothers, Percy III, Albert Sr. (Frances), Kenneth Sr. (Claudette) and James Williams; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Henrietta Peters and Rebecca and Percy Williams Sr.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Donaldsonville and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Donaldsonville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial to follow at Protestant Cemetery in Donaldsonville. (Williams & Southall)
