Bad driving ends with drug arrest

Anthony Walton Rodriguez, 80, a resident of Houma, La., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 until 11 a.m. at St. Gregory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Gregory beginning at 11 a.m., with burial in St. Francis #2 Cemetary.
Mr. Rodriguez is survived by two sons, Anthony Walton Rodriguez Jr. and Barry James Rodriguez both of Houma, La.; one brother, John Rodriguez of Houma, La.; four sisters, Emily Waits of Dickerson, Texas, Velma Perlman of Fl., Ruby Semmes of Monroe, La., and Clara Marks of Ga.; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Florence Rodriguez; one son Danny Joseph Rodriguez; one brother, and seven sisters.
Mr. Rodriguez worked for and retired from McDermott. He was a World War II Veteran, having served in the Navy. He was a loving, caring father, husband, grandfather, and friend.
Hargrave Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
