Anthony Williams

Anthony Williams, 74, a native of Alabama and resident of Houma, La. died Saturday, December 1, 2007.

He is survived by her caregiver, Loretta Scott, five sons, Donald, Kevin, Micheal, Lionel, and Gerald Williams; four daughters, Barbara Williams, Patricia Ann Easly, Gail Marie Felton, and Cynthia Lee Brown; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nellie Mae Gigoan and George Williams; and one sister, Estella W. Sanders.

Anthony was a devout Baptist and a member and usher at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.

Visitation is Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. He will be buried in Union Benevolent Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
