Arden “Dean” K. Lundgren, 89, a resident of Thibodaux, La., and a native of Boutte, La., died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006.


Visitation will begin at 8 a.m., and the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Thibodaux. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.


He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Roundtree Lundgren; one son, Charles Lundgren and wife, Monica Verdun Lundgren; two daughters, Ruth Reulet and husband, Samuel “Jude” Reulet, and Judy Lundgren; one sister, Lucy Louivere; five grandchildren, Wayne and Ron Reulet, Ross and Layla Lundgren, and Laura R. Green; and three great-grandchildren, Payton and Avery Reulet and Kate Greco.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Camile Matherne Lundgren; three brothers, Larry and Wimer “Fatty” Lundgren and Clarnce Beard; and three sisters, Eula Gros, Levi Berger and Nora Ledet.

He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the V.F.W., and a member of Protector Fire Co. #2.

In leiu of flower donation be made to Bayou Region Hospice, 195 Corparate Dr. Houma, La. 70360.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
