Argie Babin, 73, a native of Abbeville, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, July 2, 2011.
Mr. Babin was a pipe inspector and worked many years in the oilfield industry with Tuboscope, Inc. and National Oilwell Varco. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings and enjoyed bowling with friends.
He is survived by his sons, Karl, Jason (Theresa) and Cy (Melissa) Babin; daughter, Renee (Steve) Jones; brothers, Johnnie Bourque and Paul Babin; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nella Babin; parents, Alva and Euphemie Bourque; and sisters, Yvonne Viator and Mary Landry.
Burial was at Miguez Cemetery in Delcambre, La. (Hargrave)
