Aristide “A.J.” Joseph Becnel Jr., 82, a native and resident of Vacherie, La., died Monday, July 23, 2012.
He is survived by wife, Rose Becnel; son, Jody (Joann) Becnel; daughters, Pamela Ordoyne, Gay Oncale and Lynne Gillies; brother, Sidney and Lawrence Becnel; sisters, Theresa Lomancao, Stella Todaro, Shirley Folse and Dorothy Rougee; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristide Sr. and Aramza Becnel; brother, Glovelance Becnel Sr.; and sister, Cecile Castleman.
Interment was at Our Lady of Peace Church Mausoleum in Vacherie. (Thibodaux)
