Arnold James Roddy, 67, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Bourg, La., died Tuesday, May 26, at 5:15 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Marie “Mary” LeBlanc Roddy; one son, Rickey Roddy; two brothers, Donald “Penny” Roddy Jr. and Robert “Bobby” Roddy; one sister, Hazel “Anne” Marcantel; two grandchildren, Ryan Roddy and Brandon Price; and one great-grandchild, Shalyn Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Sr. and Olga Darcey Roddy.
He was a 32 Degree Mason, Knights Templar and a Shriner.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, and 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma with Religious Services to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1 in Houma, La.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
