Arthur Andrews, Sr., 73, a native of New Orleans, La. and resident of Gray, La., died Monday, May 18.
He is survived by his companion, Etta Johnson; son, Arthur Andrews, Jr.; daughters, Doris Andrews, Selena Andrews, Cheryl Warren, Tonya Thomas, Deidra Johnson, and Mieko Johnson; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Westley Andrews, son, David Andrews; and grandparents, David Gary and Pearlie Kennedy Gary
He was a Baptist and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to classical music and a former employee of Terrebonne Parish.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray, La. with religious services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
