Avery “Butch” Joseph Leonard Sr., 61, a native of Plaquemine, La., and resident of Bayou L’Ourse, La., died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013.
Mr. Leonard was a dedicated and hard-working, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He travelled the United States as a pipe-liner for 43 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Anita Leonard; daughter, Brandy Freyoux; son, Avery Leonard Jr.; sisters, Annabelle Falgout, Mary Daigle and Fannie Leonard; brothers, Jay Leonard and Leonard Aucoin; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
