Azema “Ozzie” Rousse Landry, 58, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Friday, January 16, at 7:30 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Tony Landry Sr. and wife Elizabeth, Mark Landry and wife Shantell, and Chad Landry and wife Tamar; daughter, Joi Landry and husband Jeffery Geiger; brothers, Harris Rousse and Charles Rousse; sisters, Dianne Pitre, Sonya Rousse, Rena Trahan, Joelena Duet, Elaine Louviere and Janelle Rodrigue; and grandchildren, Jesse Landry, Patrick Landry, Jesty Landry, Tony Landry Jr., Cassidy Miranne, Wilson Miranne, Jessica Landry and Ruby Miranne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marandon Sr. and Gertrude Boudreaux Rousse; brother, Marandon Rousse Jr.; and granddaughter, Lynette Landry.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales as well as spoiling her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was known as Aunt Ma and she loved her family with her whole heart. She was Baptist.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
