Barbara Ann Knightshead, 58, a resident of Chauvin, La., died Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Mrs. Knightshead was the first lady of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She devoted her life to her children, family and church.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Henry Knightshead; sons, Attorney and Martin Knightshead; daughter, Dr. Kandi Knightshead; sister, Deborah Eugene; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irma Short; father, Joseph Brown; stepfather, Reginald Short; and grandparents, Melvin and Eva Spanish.
Services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson, La. Interment will be at Cornerstone Baptist Church Cemetery. (Community)
