Barbara Dinger Simoneaux, 67, a native of Berwick, La., and a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, La., died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
A member of the AARP and “Shrimp City Sam’s Club,” Mrs. Simoneaux loved the outdoors, spending most of her time outside gardening vegetables or flowers. She enjoyed caring for wild animals and birds, listening to music and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, Leo Simoneaux; son, Camille (Charlene) Simoneaux; brothers, Leonard (Annie), Wayne Sr. (Patti), Kirk Sr. (Kathey) and Rodney (Julie) Dinger Sr.; sisters, Bonnie (Tex) Theriot and Denise Gee; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Simoneaux is buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
