Beatrice Cavalier LeBlanc, 85, a native of Belle Rose, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 5:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2011.

Mrs. LeBlanc was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.


She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Terry) and Rodney (Lorraine) LeBlanc; daughters, Theresa (Billy) Gold, Nancy Sheets, Susan Tabor and Wanda (Rodger) Guidry; brother, Sidney Cavalier; sisters, Enola Triche, Hilda Hebert, Gloria (Percy) Falcon and Loretta (Lee) Hahn; 42 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and 150 foster children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy LeBlanc; parents, Manuel and Alma Cavalier; brothers, Roy Cavalier and an infant brother; sister, Leatrice Parent; and son, Richard LeBlanc.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
