Beatrice Foret Gisclair, 81, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.
Mrs. Gisclair was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ivan Gisclair Sr.; sons, Phillip (Mary), Sherman (Merline) and Ivan Jr. (Kathray) Gisclair; daughters, Margaret (Steve) Sykes, Mona (Willie) Curole, Tracey (Timothy) Vedros and Jodylynn (Kevin) Townsley; brothers, O’Neil, Leroy and Loney Foret; sister, Eula Foret; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Sedolia Foret; brothers, Jervis, Harold, Junius and Eulan Foret; sisters, Dorita and Florence Chauvin, Odelia Sevin, Ouida LeCompte and Maggie and Hattie Foret; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, and 8 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano with burial at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
