Public input sought on state’s coastal plan
August 8, 2011Benton “Benny” Gaudet, 62, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011.
Mr. Gaudet was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Gaudet; sons, Dwain (Danielle) and Shane (Rebacca) Gaudet; brothers, Norman, Arthur, Noland and Ray Gaudet; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Blanche Gaudet; brother, Earl Gaudet; father and mother-in-law, Yves and Theresa Aupied; and grandchild, Jessi Gaudet.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
