HTHA denies woman’s discrimination charge

Bertha Johnson Redmond, 84, a native of Montegut, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Ernest Redmond Jr.; daughter, Augustine Redmond; grandchild; and great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Redmond Sr.; her parents, Thomas and Molly Johnson; one son, Enos Redmond; two daughters, Eunice Redmond Jones and Lucille Redmond; three brothers, Albert Johnson, Thomas Johnson Sr. and Fred Johnson; and two sisters, Julia and Rosa Johnson.
She is buried at Southdown Cemetery. (Community)
