Bertha Theresa Pitre, 55, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Mrs. Pitre was an amazing wife, mother and sister. She was a compassionate woman who thought of others before herself. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harry Pitre; daughter, Angie (Christopher) Richard; mother, Ada Dardar; sisters, Julia (Jose) Miranda, Henrietta (Dale) Simoneaux and Jackie (Michael) Bryan; and brothers, Gary, Jerry (Terry), Terry (Patti) and Adam (ShanaRae) Dardar.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Dardar; and sisters, Ada Dardar and Shirley Aucoin.
Interment is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
