July 26, 2011Bessie Mae Colar, 74, a native of Ashton, La., and resident of Four Corners, La., died at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, Troy, Briant, Lionel, Lloyd, Randolph, Ronald, Gerald and Mannie Colar; daughters, Gevetta and Berva Colar and Jacqueline Green; brothers, Earl and Larry Lewis and Clifford Marsh; sisters, Delores and Earline Lewis, Hester Arceneaux, Tina Moore and Ida Marsh; 32 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at Macedonia Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Jones)
