May 25, 2011Bette Carole Chauvin, 89, a native of Oilton, Okla., and resident of Terrebonne, La., died Friday, May 13, 2011.
Mrs. Chauvin was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons; Roy Jr. (Sally) and Bill (Ellen) Chauvin; daughter, Vickie (Joseph “Bubba”) LeBlanc; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Callahan, Emile, Terry, Melissa, Calvin and John Chauvin, Steven McCann, Monique Sandsness, and Joseph IV and Joshua LeBlanc; five great-grandchildren, Logan Chauvin, Ayla and Jaynie Bonvillian, and Arron and Owen LeBlanc; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy John Chauvin Sr.; and parents, Weldon and Aurisa Unger Flinchum.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
