Betty Allemand Chiasson, 71, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Larose, La., died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, June 1.
She is survived by her husband, Whitney Chiasson; son, Brian Chiasson; daughter, Rhonda Williams; brothers, Johnny Allemand and Roland Allemand; sisters, Vivian Parr, Lillian Rome, Lillie Rose Trosclair and Marion Cretini; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Xavier Allemand and Celestine Breaux Allemand; and brother, Roy Allemand.
She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
She was buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
