Betty Ann Pierce, 82, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Saturday, June 22, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick Pierce Sr.; daughters, Paulette Pertuit, Mary Gaudet, Linda Eschette, Janine Melancon, Mitzi Cranshaw and Michelle Folse; sister, Geraldine Adams; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Anna Punch; sons, Frederick Jr. and Michael Pierce; daughter, Susan Robichaux; sisters, Odette Guidry, Irene Orgeron, Annie LeBlanc and Eula Bye; brothers, Johnny, J.P. and Gerard Punch; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
