February 19, 2013Betty Irene Ann Bernard, 61, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
Ms. Bernard loved to dance, crochet and spend time with her family. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her mother, Irene Williams; brothers, Julius Jr. (Carolyn), Murphy (Dena) and Jody Bernard; stepbrother, Eddie Jr. (Cassie) Williams; sister, Joan Bernard; and stepsister, Stacy (Neal) Comeaux.
She was preceded in death by her father, Julius Bernard; and stepfather, Eddie Williams.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
