March 15, 2012Betty Lou Hoxie Toten, 84, a native of Sioux City, Iowa, and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:57 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Billie) Angley; daughters, Cheryl Follis and Barbara (Richard) Eschete; brother, Russell Hoxie; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Toten; parents, Louis and Eda Hoxie; brother, Jim Hoxie; and sister, Madelyn Johnston. (Chauvin)
