Betty Welch Meaux, 80, a native of Sabine Pass, Texas, and resident of Destrehan, La., died Wednesday, July 27, 2011.
Mrs. Meaux was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, La.
She is survived by her son, Timothy (Jane) Meaux; grandchildren, Chad (Nicole) Matherne, Ryan (Angie) Meaux and Allison (Jared) Trahan; and great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Ava Trahan and Lila and Adalyn Meaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Meaux; parents, George and Sarah Welch; son, Micheal Meaux; daughter, Charlotte Matherne; and brothers, George, Gordon and Eric Welch.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Burial will be at Holy Savior Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
