Beulah “Bebe” M. Freeman, 80, a native of Abita Springs, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, August 13, at 4:10 a.m.


She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Freeman and Bridget St. Martin; step-son, Michael Freeman; former son-in-law, Willard St. Martin; sisters, Leona Willette, Audrey Scafidel and Jean Mascair; grandson, Dillon St. Martin; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving “Blackie” Freeman; parents, Emile Bush and Mary Ann Bernard Bush; brothers, Daniel Bush, Wilson Bush, Leonard Bush and Marvin Bush; sisters, Barbara Bush and Verna Theza; and grandson, Darrell Lee Anderson.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ninds Gift Fund (Dementia) Bldg 31 Room 8A34, 31 Center Dr., Bethesda, Md. 20892.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with mass to follow.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
