Beverly Agnes LaFrance Pereira, 79, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010.
Mrs. Pereira was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 349 Raceland and the owner and operator of Lafourche Novelty Company Inc. and Pereira Enterprise Inc.
She is survived by her sons, Lenny (Tammy), Mike (Tammy) and Nick Pereira; daughter, Connie Jo (Wayne) Boudreaux; brothers, Joe and Bobby LaFrance; sisters, Shirley Hon and Gail Cheramie; 10 grandchildren, Mileina Battaglia, Heather Pereira, Autumn Douglas, Amber Mangiarcina, Melissa Webre, Dustin Duplantis, Mike Pereira, Leah Bourgeois, Brandi Boudreaux and Alexis Boudreaux; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abe Pereira Jr.; parents, Edward Sr. and Anastasia Fitzgerald LaFrance; brothers, Edward Jr. and Billy LaFrance; and four sisters, Joyce Berelocqua, Rosemary Roth, Irma Micks and June LeCompte.
She is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
