Billy “Bill” Forrest Boone, 70, a native of Old Hickory, Tenn. and a resident of Gray, La. died Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at 12:05 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Wilazynki Boone; two sons, Chris Boone and his wife Patsy and Mike Boone and his wife Michelle; one brother, David Boone; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Anna Diamond Boone.
Billy served his country in the United States Air Force and Coast Guard.
There will be a memorial service held Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
