Billy Garrard, 88, a native of Liberty, Texas, and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.
Mr. Garrard was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was the last surviving partner of The Hycatector Company and president of Electro-Craft Corporation and Strata-Log Incorporated.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Garrard; sons, Michael and J. Mitchell Garrard; daughters, Beth Perque, Rachel Whitefield, Renee Knight and Rebecca Garrard; sister, Nann Roberts; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miriam McCrieght and Billie Garrard; sister, Alice Pritchard; and brother, Benny Garrard.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
